11) For sale on http://www.gsbbooks.com (March 2008). Description reads: "A charming series of rather moral tales, the lessons learned by two boys from conversations with their father, Mr. Friendly. Includes mention of a visit to a spinning mill and a conversation the boys have with a child who had been stolen by gypsies. Each scene presents an improving opportunity, from a friend's funeral to a moonlit vista; a visit to a fair provides the chance to expound on the marvels of trade: "You saw people assembled from all the quarters of the world; they appeared to have laid aside all the national prejudices which separate one from another. They appeared to be members of one family. This is the advantage which commerce produces."

12) Described at http://www.vgernet.net/frakerbook/english_and_continental_books.htm: "Interesting provincial chapbook guide for reading cards, tea leaves, fingernails, physiognomy, etc. The book originated in the early part of the century, under the title The Little Gipsey Girl or Universal Fortune Teller. All editions are scarce. With a handsome folding frontispice of the gypsy queen performing a reading, vividly colored."

13) re - What every Christian must know - Dublin Review, March 1855 says: "Of the many cheap and useful publications which have been issued from the Catholic Press of Derby, from the appearance of the celebrated "Derby Reprints" to the present time, we are inclined to think that none have been more useful, or have produced greater fruit, amongst our own people at least, (for we do not now allude to books of controversy) than such little works as the above, published as they are at an extremely low price."
