All of my pictures are drawn on 160gsm Ingres paper using high quality pastels. Portraits are fixed with Windsor & Newton fixative.

Portrait costs are governed by the size of the portrait and the number of subjects, please see below. Size shown below are for frame size.

9x12 inches (229x297 mm) unframed
Single head study   £75

16x12 inches (406x305 mm) unframed

Prices are for single animal, for addition animals add an extra £40/subject. This extra cost applies only to subjects on the same portrait. (Pictures can be mounted, framed and posted at extra cost, UK only. Please contact me for details.)

Depending my current work load, commissions usually take 4-5 weeks. Times may be longer in the period before Christmas.

Pictures are not framed. It is best to go to your local framer for advice and make your own choice of personal preference. Frame your pastel portrait as soon as possible and do not touch the pastel, always hold/handle the picture at the edges.

UK portraits will be sent ‘next day Special delivery’. Unframed costs £10.

E-mail me your details, including the number and type of animals and the size of drawing you’d like. If you’d like to discuss your requirements over the phone include your phone number and when it is convenient for you to talk and I will call you. If you live in the vicinity (Guilford, Woking area), you’re welcome to come over for a chat

These can be digital or printed images. Digital images can be emailed directly to me, they should be as high a resolution as possible. Please ensure any single email does not exceed 5MB. Printed photos should only be sent ‘signed for’ or ‘recorded delivery’. Please mark printed photos with your name and address, with a soft nibbed pen, on the back so that they can be returned to you. Please contact me for my address.
Once I have received your photos I will advise if they are suitable, it is essential to have good images. I will then provide an approximate time-frame for completion. If you are happy to continue with the commission then a £20 deposit will confirm your order.
An image of your finished portrait will be emailed to you, or displayed on the Crazypip web site, and if you are satisfied, once the remainder of the balance is paid, the portrait will be posted to

The portraits remain the property of Katy Moffat until paid for in full. Payment can be by cheque, made payable to K Moffat or can be via Paypal.

A non-refundable £20 deposit is required on confirmation of your order. The balance is due on completion and approval of the portrait. Once your payment has cleared the portrait will be posted to you, recorded delivery.

If the portrait is damaged in transit, please return to me and I can claim compensation for you through the post office insurance, or replace the portrait. Damage must be noted on the ‘signed for’ delivery notes.
