I live in a little village in Surrey, with my husband Tristan, my two baby daughters (Isey and Lucy), three border collies (‘crazy’ Pip, Mac and 16 week old puppy, Patch), and finally a cat called Mrytle. I also have a retired horse, Scoutie, who resides up in Northumberland with my parents.
I love animals and have been around them all my life. I believe this familiarity of animals in many different poses helps me capture realistic and life like drawings. My mum, an art teacher, encouraged me to draw with pastels whilst I was studying at the University of Stirling, and for the past 15 years I have been perfecting my skill. It gives me great pleasure producing works-of-art for others to enjoy.
I have chosen to call my web site ‘Crazypip’ after my first dog Pip. He is now 7 years old and cheers me up every day with his antics. He is a true collie and if he’s not herding anything that moves, he’s running as fast as he can, or drinking as fast as he can. He likes to sing along to the Star Trek theme tune and also my mum’s piano playing. That’s why he’s called crazy Pip.
