Bringing Barn Dancing Back with a Bang
We are a non-profit making attempt to bring Country Dance back where it belongs, the M27 Megabops welcome you to a regular dance series on the Hampshire Coast. We bring you the best barndance bands in the country each month in the autumn, winter and spring. All the dances have a caller who gives full instructions, so they are suitable for beginners as well as experienced dancers.
With the best of the bands currently on the folk dance scene, experienced callers to choose the right dances for the occasion and the occasional surprise, the M27 Megabops are the best way to spend a Saturday evening - come and try.

RELOCATION OF M27MEGABOPS
From April 2007 we are going permanently to Nursling and Rownhams Hall, 7.30-11.15pm on Nursling Street, off the A3057 just off J3 of the M27. Note Nursling Street itself cannot be entered direct from the motorway junction, proceed northwards to A3057 and turn right. Nursling Street is then fifth on the right after going back under the motorway; the Hall is on the corner of Joe Bigwood Close. See map (1) and zoom (2) when you are oriented.
