Local Shopping and Eating

The US 192 is a very popular highway for both shopping and eating and to make it easier to follow, it provides mile markers to guide you along it!

There are numerous restaurants, Orlando Ale House, Longhorn Steakhouse & Cracker Barrel are just a few. There are plenty of take-out establishments, pizza, Chinese etc. McDonalds, Burger King and Taco Bell frequent most highways in the area.

Turning east onto US 192 leads to the community of Celebration, which has the nearest Post Office and also various banks, coffee shops, restaurants and a cinema.

The entrances to the Walt Disney World are on your left as you go east on US 192, only five minutes from the villa.

The local supermarket is Winn Dixie Marketplace, situated at the intersection of Formosa Gardens Boulevard and the US 192. There is also a Publix supermarket, further west on the US 192 at Orange Lake Town Center (Open every day of the week, from 7am - 11pm). The nearest Wal-Mart Super center is west on US 192 then slightly north on US27, on the right hand side of the road.

There are several shopping centres within Orlando and Kissimmee:

	The Florida Mall - on the intersection of Sand Lake Road and Orange Blossom Trail, featuring JC Penney, and Saks Fifth Avenue
	The Mall at Millenia - exit 78 of I-4, featuring Bloomingdale's and Macy's
	Orlando Premium Outlets - exit 68 of I-4, featuring Nike, Adidas, Tommy Hilfiger and many, many more top brand name stores
	Prime Outlets International - at the north end of International Drive, featuring outlet shops for even more famous brands
	Festival Bay - at north end of International Drive, Speciality shops, restaurants, movies and entertainment.

Golf Courses

There are many golf courses within the Orlando / Kissimmee area. The closest is situated at Celebration. Celebration Golf Club is an 18-hole public championship golf course. The club offers lessons and clinics for all members of the family, with five tee boxes on each hole.

Orange Lake Country Club has an 18-hole course with a total yardage of 7072. The resort also holds a new 9-hole course 'Crane's Bend', with a yardage of 1901.
