DO YOU REMEMBER "TURN IT UP"?

Help needed to trace programme participants

I have been contacted by Dale Shaw from the BBC who is trying to trace people who took part in the BBC radio show "Turn It Up". Here's what Dale says:-

"Hard as it may be to believe, 2004 marks the 21st anniversary of BBC Radio Sussex/Sussex & Surrey/Southern Counties landmark production ‘Turn It Up’. Myself (the final presenter, sorry), Richard Hutt, Jeremy Stone and George Wright have been discussing the possibility of putting together a retrospective edition of the show/reunion for later this year. We’d like to get as many former presenters and contributors involved as possible. We're considering a two-hour show, with contributors playing their favourite tracks and sharing their favourite memories of the show, followed by a few drinks.

"If you are interested in taking part, please get in touch and let us know your thoughts. We'd also be grateful for any help anyone could offer in tracking down team members who may have strayed from the BBC. Once we have an idea of the level of interest we'll talk through the possibilities with Southern Counties.

"I always hated the fact that "Turn It Up" never had a proper send-off (as you may know, it was axed with two days notice in 1994), so it all seems highly appropriate. Please get in touch with any ideas or input."
