The Late Show & Paul Miller

If you listen to your local BBC radio station in the south and south-east between 10pm and 1am during the week you will be familiar with The Late Show with Paul Miller. If you are a listener to BBC Southern Counties Radio or BBC Radio Solent on Sunday evenings between 9pm and 1am then you can also hear Paul doing his "music club" show.

Paul Miller is vastly popular with people of all ages, from teenagers still at school to others well into their retirement years or (in other words) people up to 29 years old. If you are a regular listener to Paul, you will know what I mean!

Here are some great pictures taken from the studio where Paul broadcasts (Southampton). The picture top left was taken at the New Year's Eve party broadcast on 31st December/1st January 2002/3 and top right is a great picture of Paul at the microphone. Here's a great one (right) of Paul with Shangi Lil (a.k.a. Auntie Jo) via the BBC Radio Solent website (credit to BBC Radio Solent for this one).

Regular listeners to Paul will be familiar with his tales of holidays in his caravan and journeys in his Citroen 2CV. Many thanks to "Bacon" for these two pictures which he let me pinch from his website. Unfortunately, Bacon has had to close his website, but you can still contact him via - here. Unfortunately, Paul's caravan came to a sad ending when it ceased to become a safe place to spend the night and his 2CV has also passed on to another world!

There are regular discussions about Paul Miller and The Late Show on the new BBC Forum. Click here for further details. Here's another great picture of Paul with a couple of tin cans for headphones! Credit to BBC Radio Solent again for this picture.
