An appeal from George Holland, who writes - "The Currencies Appeal collects donations of unwanted foreign notes and coins which are then transferred into British stirling. This will provide money for the next World Youth Day trip to Cologne in 2005. Most of the young people in the Arundel and Brighton Diocese aged 16 to 18 are raising funds in many ways to help pay for the trip, just like we did for Toronto 2002 with The Pope. We are a registered charity so it is for a good cause. Around 40 young people from Arundel and Brighton will be going with approximately eight adults one of whom will be me, George Holland." If you are able to help, please e-mail George Holland. Many thanks.George is obviously a very busy man, he also works in the BBC shop in Epsom and is a presenter on the Epsom Hospital Radio. ![]() Click here for top of page |
