You can catch Mike's show from 1pm to 4pm every Sunday which is broadcast simultaneously on BBC Southern Counties Radio and BBC Radio Solent. Mike is multitalented; not only is he a great presenter for BBC SCR/Solent, but also works shifts for BBC Five Live, is one of the station's regular weather reporters, produces some of other people's programmes, can be heard sometimes reading the news and occasionally fills in for other presenters when they are away. In between all these jobs, he also finds time to do the weather on the television for BBC South Today. Mike has had a very interesting and varied past with jobs including an airline steward on long haul flights and has trained as a catholic priest.

Here are some photographs showing Mike at work for the BBC. These include some very interesting images taken from the webcam during a visit to a very haunted hotel during Halloween night in 2003. The hotel is The Dolphin on Southampton's High Street.

Here's a couple of pictures of Mike with Alison Sparkes. Alison was another member of the BBC crew who shared the "sleepover" at the Dolphin Hotel, but I understand they were too nervous to sleep much that night. Whatever, Mike and Ali are obviously good friends!
