This is Christopher Rolfe. Chris is a regular guest of Mike Powell on a Sunday afternoon and I had the pleasure of meeting him at the BBC SCR Pantomime on 30th November at the Epsom Playhouse. Chris can be heard on Mike's programme on the third Sunday of the month between 1.30pm and 2.30pm. I have a couple of more recent pictures of Chris which I will post here shortly

This is a great picture of Paul Miller and after several weeks, have finally found out who took it - thanks to listener Mark. click here to see the full size original. Paul broadcasts six days a week, 10pm 'til 1am during the week and 9pm to 1am Sunday night.

On the left here, we have a picture of Bill Buckley and Angela Higgins which was taken by "Skirted Hamish from Storrington" back in February. Angela is often in the kitchen, in the studios or on the 'phone to various BBC SCR presenters but is most often in the kitchen with Bill Buckley for some of his tasty heated Wednesday afternoon cooking sessions. All BBC Radio presenters have profiles and pictures on the vast BBC website. Here is what the website says about Mike:-

Mike Powell started his love affair with broadcasting when he sat at his mother's dressing table at the age of 10 and started reading the news. He even applied to be a football commentator at the same time and although he was told he was too young (something he doesn't get accused of any more!). He was on air for hospital radio before his voice broke at 12. While he studied to be a catholic priest he produced a video about world religions and when he flew the world as cabin crew he was asked to present and produce a corporate British Airways video which all new entrants received through the post. Mike joined the BBC team in 1998 as a weather presenter, but is now heard regularly presenting Dorset's evening news and a lazy Sunday afternoon on BBC Radio Solent. When he has the spare time he still appears on a regular basis in front of his mother's dressing table.

Here on the left is George Holland. Not only does he work for BBC SCR as a sports reporter, but also presents his own show on Epsom Hospital Radio and is an avid listener of BBC Southern Counties Radio. George has written a very useful article about working in the media (radio in particular) for this website, click here. George kindly invited me to Epsom Hospital Radio a couple of times as a guest interviewee (20th July and 2nd November 2003) and I took this picture during my second visit. I am currently working on another visit to EHR!

This is David Rees. David is also a sports reporter for BBC Southern Counties Radio. We had the pleasure of meeting at Epsom Hospital Radio when George Holland invited me in on 2nd November, which is when I took this picture. Someone has obviously had a hard day at work and is having problems smiling for the camera! And, on the right, a wonderful drawing of Neil.
