In this technological age, there are many ways of contacting the station and members of BBC staff. They can be reached by post, telephone, text message and e-mail. Each BBC presenter, producer and member of the BBC has their own e-mail address. The station itself also has an e-mail address and so do some of the individual programmes. As a general rule (there are exceptions), you can work out the e-mail address of a presenter (or BBC staff member) using this format - firstname.surname@bbc.co.uk.

If you are unfamiliar with texting, this is a method of contacting presenters in a very similar way to e-mailing, but you don't need a computer - you can use you mobile 'phone. The message goes straight onto a computer screen in front of the presenter. Great for short, quick messages. Unlike e-mails and texting to another mobile 'phone, the presenters will not be able to text back a reply.
