13. James Trimmer [image] (John , John ) was born calculated 1704 in Farnham. He died on 29 Jan 1791 in Old Brentford. He was buried 1 on 5 Feb 1791 in St Mary's church, Ealing, Middlesex.

3 April 1722: Apprenticed to William Nash, Brentford, in Clothworkers Company. Son of John Trimmer, late of Farnham, yeoman, not a member of the Company, dead by 3 April 1722. 2 oddities:
1) in the space by the apprenticeship entry, where the master's business and address are shown, it is clear that 'Clothworker, St Botolph, Billingsgate' was written in later and in a different ink
2) between 'brickmaker' and 'at Brentford' in the Freedom entry there appear the words '(Rul.d [perhaps Ral.d] Waterman)', with the d over the full stop. Possibly means '(en)rolled', suggesting he was an ex-waterman from Billingsgate, enrolled by the Company of Watermen and Lightermen, one of the few Companies without Grant of Livery), now a Clothworker, now a Brickmaker...
