VULCAN

Named after the RAF's mighty V-bomber with its huge delta-wing, Vulcan was included in the Red Arrows' 2000 display, following a very smooth and logical change from Apollo.  The formation was flown many years previously, when it was known as Pyramid.  In 2007, to commemorate the anniversary of the Falklands Conflict, the Red Arrows redesigned the Vulcan formation, and flew the new shape over Buckingham Palace as part of the official commemoration.
