THE LONG FORMATIONS
These formations are Red Arrows
formations where
many of the aircraft extend back beyond the central stem of Reds 6 and
7. As a result, the wingmen are often a considerable distance
from the leader, making these formations more difficult. When
watching these formations, keep an eye on how well the pilots at the
rear of the Red Arrows formations hold their positions.
