The Royal Anglian Regiment was formed in 1964 as one of the new large infantry regiments, through the amalgamation of the Regiments of the East Anglia Brigade.

This group is here to try and keep alive the name of the 
"The Pompadours" The 3rd Battalion, The Royal Anglian Regiment.
Although disbanded there is still life in the old Eagle yet.
