Tony [ Nobby ] Phoenix

An old friend.

An old friend (And he is old) joined the Artillery in 1937 as a boy soldier and when war broke out he lied about his age and joined the Essex Regiment and fought in all the major battles including Burma.  In 1951 he was called up again and was posted to the Glocestershire Regiment and sent to Korea.  He was serious wounded at the battle of Injim River and was sent home.
