This was the UN post at Avlona that I spent time at on the 79/80 tour. The place is totally deserted and things have changed but not the fact that when we arrived in the White (UN look a like) car and walked about all the Turkish solders climbed their tower and donned their helmets just as they always did nearly 20 years ago
