MAINTENANCE

I have a regular maintenance schedule and I do stick to it. Every other day I will clean the cover glass and front glass I do not however clean the back or side glass. I do a regular water change once a week with high quality water 'reverse osmosis' (R/O). I normally let my salt mix up for 48 hours to oxygenate it before I add it to my tank. I do regular water checks daily/weekly. I check my water gravity daily and top up if necessary with R/o water. I empty my protein skimmer waste as required. I check live stock is well and healthy. I add trace elements morning and night.  Every other week I change the floss in my filter and check all electrical equipment is working properly. Monthly I change my activated carbon and siphon off any detritus in the tank..
