Camping Club Juniors.
This is for youngsters aged 8 - 11 years of age who camp with their parents on a Solent D.A. arranged camping club site. This area of the site is restricted to a description of the role of the CCJ and please contact the CCJ leaders for details of the actual events.

The role of the CCJ leaders is to encourage young campers to become more independent. We invite these youngsters to camp away from their parents in a designated area, typically in the centre of the campsite but separate camping lines.
We run a number of activities such as crafts and games to encourage the youngsters to gain social skills and to be part of a group.
We also have a CCJ test as a stepping stone into the CCY group to help prepare them on their ‘camping’ journey.
We like to offer around 6—8 weekends a season where CCJ lines are available. At all times the responsibility for the children remains with the parents, but we like to try and have the kids play and work together.
The following list are those dates for which CCJ lines will be available.
We are self funding and look to raise funds so we can cover the costs of crafts and the like.
The CCJ have their own pennon and small CCJ pennons are available from our Regalia Officer.
