Books
have always interested me from a very early age and I am to this day
an avid reader. Annuals captivated many with their vibrant colours
and comic strips and the main reason for my galleries was to share
them with other people. Other collectors have found the galleries
an invaluable reference source for identifying what was issued, what
they looked like and what years they were published (many annuals
did not state on them what year they were for). I have over 1700 annuals
in my collection, which doesn't even scratch the surface of how many
annuals were ever published. As you can see from the picture, I am
going to need to put more shelves up sometime soon. The following
pictures are of my library - containing all the rest of my books from
comic strips and TV novelisations to TV Sci Fi - all in all over 20,000
books. Assembling all the bookcases in this library took some considerable
time, but it was worth it to finally have all my books organised and
in one place. Books and the later shown cartoon figures are my two
main collecting hobbies.
