My Dr Who Collection...

Who is my most favourite television programme. I watched it from the
beginning and have always been fascinated with the concept. I have
all the books and all the videos. I also have all the Dapol figures
before Dapol lost their licence from the BBC to produce them ( I recently
came across a site that reported on this one, where the only positive
thing they said was that they were jealous of my "multi-ethnic"
daleks !). The police box you can see on the bottom right of the top
picture is actually one of a limited edition video cabinet (which
is now full which is why the rest are on a bookcase).

My Glass Animal Collection...

fell in love with these after I watched a film many years ago about
a girl who collected them (I couldn't remember the name of the film
but since I first placed this comment, I have been informed by many
emails that this was "The Glass Menagerie" - Many thanks
to all who sent messages about this). These are hard to keep clean
as they are so delicate. The collection is smaller than it once was,
(I don't actively add to it anymore) because one day a few years ago,
in my last house, a blackbird got in and couldn't find its way out
again. In its panic it flew all over the place and landed on these
shelves, promptly walking along and knocking them off. (I lost a few
of my bottle collection that day as well).
