The New Car

Mrs Aulderly
 Married Peter Stanley,
They both bought a big car
 To drive into town,
Big car
 Running boards,
Leather hood,dash board,
 Very posh
Very clean
 Got a little rattle though,
Mr Peter Stanley
 On his way to work,
Drove to the garage
 To have a little word,

Machanic there
 Aufull smart
Patch on his overalls,
 Looked at the engine
And gave a little sigh,
 I'm afraid it needs
A big end
 A side end,
A little end
It even needs a bracket peace,
And a rod between the two,
 O said Mr Stanley
Looking quite
 Unhappy,
I didn't think
 The car,
Was quite as bad
 As that,

Mrs Aulderly
 Gave the car a biscuit,
Put it in
 The garage
And let it go to sleep,
 They polished it
Cuddled it
 Gave it tea and muffins,
Then took
 It out
And drove into town,
 Mrs Aulderly
And Mr Peter Stanley,
 Didn't buy a big end
A bracket piece
Or a rod between the two,
They still drive
 Their big car
Running boards leather hood,
 They still give it biscuits
And it runs very well.
