Spotlight Featured Cranes
Colossus L6000

The Colossus L6000 was the largest mobile crane Coles developed. Brought out in 1971 it could lift 250 tons and could be configured as a tower crane. It was built at the Darlington works in England and remained for a long time the largest mobile crane in the world.

Hydra 18/22

The story of a Hydra 18/22 crane manufactured at the Australian Factory in Milperra outside Sydney. Told by the son of person who bought it from the very beginnings of ordering the present day.

Illustrious Truck

This line of general purpose machines had been one of the most popular machines of their type in the world. With front wheel drive, rear wheel steer, it had excellent manoeuvrability and compact dimensions. The design remained fundamentaly the same from its begining to the present day.
