KCAR for AutoCAD

KCAR AND KCAR THE GAME

Kcar was initially designed as an idea to move a car around road layouts, so I had to find out if it would work. It did and this is the result.
Kcar has two modes, Tracking mode and Game mode.
The tracking mode was devised to test road layouts to see if they worked correctly. The turning circles of the cars are realistic and car dependent.

Having made this very useful function, it was only a small step (I thought) to convert this into a small fun game. Possibly the best game on AutoCad. (possibly the only game on AutoCad)

You move one of three cars around using the numbers on the keypad. The movement track of the car can be followed. In tracker mode you work on your own drawing and only the car and its movement track are displayed.

In game mode you can choose any of three road layouts to drive around, Learner driver, Race Track, School Run, User-1 or any road layout you want to design yourself.
Any really good tracks if sent to me will be posted on the tonyonthemoon web site.

The object of Kcar the Game is to drive your car around the road or circuit without hitting anything or driving off the road. The number of moves is counted so you can try to beat the lowest score.
After finishing your drive path is displayed. At this point every one watching will laugh saying how rubbish your driving is. Remember you get to laugh at them when they try.

You can start Kcar in one of three ways. Manually by loading the lisp file directly from the command line. (this does not leave any trace of the program on you desktop!) By using a popdown menu, or from the Kcar menu bar. There are full details in the readme file with the program.

Kcar will work in both metric and imperial.(USA)
