“This organ has two important claims to fame. Firstly, it is one of only two surviving instruments built directly to the specification of Dr H J Gauntlett… Secondly, it is the largest surviving work by organ builder G M Holdich, its maker”

What we have done up to now.

We held a Gift day for our organ fund on Saturday 4th February 2006 when our church was open from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. During the day, people listened to some music played on the organ, as well as a violin and piano. The more adventurous had a look around the pipes in the organ. The church choir also sang some songs. We had a cake stall and served lunches throughout the time. The whole day was very successful and many people who had not visited the church for a long time came to listen and to talk. We raised over £15,000 in gifts and sales.
