Guided walk: A 9km circular walk by the Antonine Wall, taking in Bar Hill Fort, Croy Hill and returning along the Forth Clyde Canal towpath. Meet in Twechar outside Barrhill Tavern at 11a.m, NS701757

Guided walk: Autumn colours in Cumbernauld Glen. Meet/park at Cumbernauld House NS775758 at 11am.

Guided tour: Glasgow Botanic Gardens Glasshouses. Meet outside main glass houses at 1.30pm

 

Sunday 10th January

Guided walk: Visit to RSPB Lochwinnoch to see wintering wildfowl. Meet outside Visitor Centre at 11am

A woodland walk at Finlaystone Country Estate. Meet in visitor car park at 11am
