There are various things you can do by connecting your scanner to other bits of equipment such a a PC.
Most scanners will have a headphone jack which will enable you to take audio out to another device such as a sound recorder or PC. Here's how to get that audio out to another device in order to do any one of those interesting things above you might want to do

Some even better news is that my ISP, Virginmediocre have finally pulled their finger out and have started offering 200MB webspace which is almost four times the 55MB which I have been suffering with over the last 10 years.
However, they are only offering this extra space to new customers and existing loyal customers will have to wait until some undisclosed time in 2010 in order to be upgraded.
