STILLWATER LAKE

HIS lake is home to a community of Nixies and their willingly charmed human helpers. Unfortunately two of the nixie children accidentally opened a portal to a mysterious tomb. A volume of water from the lake rushed into the tomb as the portal opened sucking in the children, who became trapped by the tomb's grave robber proof security system, namely 2 mummies and a mummified jaguar.

The PC's who had been travelling North from the Anderida Forest were entreated by the pixies to save them. The nixies gave each of the PC's a kiss enabling them to breath underwater, although it took several demonstartions by intrepid individuals before they eventually believed the DM that they wouldn't drown (Do I have a reputation for killing off characters?)

HOW THE HOLERS HANDLED IT!

This scenario challenges the players with three basic problems:

1. How to communicate with your friends when you can't speak because you're breathing water like in the movie "The Abyss".

2. How to see where you're going because lanterns and torches don't work underwater.

3. How to kill something that is already dead when the only magical weapon you have is your only light soure.
