 HERE
are as many religions in the Lands of Dual as there are races and cultures
who worship them. Many of these Gods are grouped into pantheons or families
of Gods. Characters who come from Pantheist races or cultures can worship
any, all or none of them. However, in order to learn and cast their particular
brands of magick, Cleros and Pagos must worship one God above all others
(ie; they can believe in the other Gods, but they worship one in particular).
MONOTHEISM
 ONOTHEISM
is the worship of one God responsible for the creation of everything.
Monotheist cultures and races do not acknowledge the existence of other
Gods or that they are simply manifestations of the one true God in one
form or another. Montheism is available to both Cleros and Pagos and the
normal rules regarding spell selection apply. However, Cleros and Pagos
must choose the element dictated by their religion as their natural element.
AIR
 SHAYLETH
(Pr: Sh-a-le-th) Goddess of Air, daughter of Gaia and Geddon is portrayed
as a golden haired maiden riding a golden dragon. Lore states that she
inherited much of her conceited and fiery demeanor from her father,
Geddon and was banished from stepping foot on the the land until she
could find someone whom she could honour and obey. Her golden dragon
Bakisha is her constant companion and she is always depicted riding
her.

(pr: Geh-don) God of Fire and husband to Gaia the Goddess of Light,
the creator and father to Saris and Shayleth.

(pr: Sah-ris) Goddess of Water and rebirth, daughter of Gaia and Geddon.

KEIDIS
(pr: Kay-dhis) God of Earth and solidity, son of Gaia and Volus and
husband to Saris

(pr: Voh-Loos) God of Darkness the destroyer, Gaia's equal and father
of Keidis.

(pr: Ghai-a) Goddess of Light and the creator, wife to Geddon the God
of Fire and retribution and mother to Saris, Shayleth and Keidis.

(Pr: Fee-ew) God of airs was created when Durem belched.

(pr: teh-rix) the fire god was created as a gift to the dwarves to
give them warmth, to cook their food and to ward off the fierce creatures
that roamed the early lands of dual. Durem created him when he opened
a wound in his left hand and flame issued forth.
WATER
PODLAN
(pr: pod-a-lun) was created by Durem after a particularly drunken
night of revelry when he urinated into the mountains creating vast
lakes of visiting his dwarven
EARTH
DUREM
(pr: doo-rum) the earth god is the creator god and father of all the
other deities in Dwarven Religion. He has existed since the dawn of
time and is embodied by the element of Earth from which Dwarves believe
that they were created and must therefore be buried or for their blood
to mingle with the soil in order for them to sit at Durem's feet in
the halls of the dead.
LIGHT
BARHAIT
(pr: Bah-right) The light God was created in order to give the dwarves.
DARK
RAGNAR
(pr: Rha-g-nar) the god of darkness was the first of the dieties to
be created by Durem when he cut off his own right hand. Durem required
Ragnar to go into the earth and create the metals and gems that would
be gifts to his children the dwarves in reward for their loyalty.
Ragnar was happy until he had created all the metals and gems, he
looked at all that he had created and foolishly considered himself
greater than Durem his creator. Angered at this presumtion, Durem
fought Ragnar for 1000 years until Ragnar succumbed to his greater
strength. As punishment Durem cut off Ragnar's right hand in replacement
of his own and banished him to the dark center of Dual. Ragnar vowed
that there would be a day of reckoning when he would again face Durem
across a battlefield with an immense army created from Dwarves denied
an honourable death.

(pr: Mee-nos) (FIRE) The God of Minotaurs.
