Information worker I researched and wrote two briefing sheets for The London Ecology Centre in 1994. One was on energy efficiency in the home, and another on cars and their impact on our lives. One of my main fascinations is the (still rather new) way of looking at things as Whole Systems. I also began, but have not completed,
a paper on Money and Another useful approach is to use Amazon for hard-to-find books and other material. I have done library research, (and outlines), for two mature students, helping them with the writing of multimedia college papers. One involved me in researching avant-garde theatre of the Twentieth Century, the other focused on the Human-Computer Interface. It was fascinating stuff. I wish I had known about, or had access to, things like Wikipedia before. As it happens, my local library, and its books, was quite sufficient for the guys to get a 2.2 and a 2.1 pass (whatever that means) - although the paper was probably the least of the evaluation of multimedia students.
