If you collect autographs, and can't get to those rare conventions that I turn up to, then I highly recommend going to visit the autographabilia site - you are guaranteed a genuine signature, and will be dealing with an honest and conscientious trader - something that is still a delight to find in this world - with an amazing collection of images.
My interest in the fan scene was originally renewed by chatting with Sue Hooven, whose incredibly detailed site
is
full of information for collectors, fans and anyone interested in the current
scene.
I only get face-to-face with a few people through
the convention network, but I have also made some good 'virtual' friends on the Web.
