First European Juggling Convention Brighton 1978 As I recall, nearly everybody stayed at Lynn's house in Brighton, and we Londoners commuted. I know Lloyd Timberlake carried on to write 'ecological' books (try putting his name into Amazon), and Mike Gelb did Alexander Technique (and had a lovely fluid juggling style) - follow the link to see how he turned out - Stuart Fell continued doing film and TV stunts (and jester, as here). Lynn Thomas still does magic around the Brighton area as The Great Velcro. Tim Bat is still working on the circuit (I found several agencies listing his availability in Google). Lindsay Leslie died a few years ago, as did Mark Robertson (the youngest there). I have pretty well lost touch with everybody else. There are some scans of stories of those times (and a different picture from the same session) from the IJA newsletters, here. |
