| La Bourdère was a derelict hamlet
situated in the Gers, South West France. Brian and Susan
Edward bought the hamlet in July 2002 and began
renovating in January 2003. Their idea was to create an
arts centre offering a wide range of courses on music
and the arts. La Bourdère fitted their vision perfectly
- a magical secluded location, buildings filled with
history and character with the potential to create a
concert hall, a wood working workshop, artists studios
and accomodation. The courses are planned to run during
spring and autumn and at other times of the year the
accomodation will be let on a long or short term basis.
