| We are in the heart of Gascony, in one of the
least populated and most agricultural departments of
France, the Gers. Bypassed by all major autoroutes,
train lines, industry and hustle and bustle of modern
life, the specialities of the Gers are sunflowers,
armanagac and geese.
Situated between Toulouse and Bordeaux, the Gers is
closer to Spain than Paris in both distance and culture.
Auch is the principal town of the Gers and we are 20kms
west of Auch. The course is held in the village of Le
Brouilh Monbert. The region is not well served by public
transport and the lack of cars and other vehicles means
it is ideal for walking and cycling. On clear days the
Pyrenees outline the horizon.
