Cycling holiday July 2001

We had some holiday so we cycled from home to Angela's parents via Argos (to buy a tent - amazing value at £20), stayed the night (not very streunous so far!), then bought some sleeping bags (also at Argos) and headed over to friends in Needingworth where we tested the tent in their garden, then on to friends in Wadenhoe via Houghton Mill and Alconbury Weston - a long ride but a cream tea when we arrived! Camped again, next day pootled around Oundle, then on the last day cycled back home in one day - which wasn't as bad as we thought it would be although the weather was very hot.

Total mileage covered over 4 days: 122 miles.
