Hints and Tips

Nail cutting can be a happy time for both ferret and owner. A small squirt of Ferretone or Ferretvite on the ferrets stomach will distract him while you are clipping. Be careful not to clip lower than the pink that you can see through the nail.

Small animal nail clippers. These can be bought from vets or pet shops and are usually under £5.
