If you have not already done so may I suggest that you purchase a copy of the only book written exclusively about the J40 and Pathfinder. It is by David Whyley and entitled "Austin Pedal Cars"
The ISBN # is o-946265-31-3. Price around £10.
This is an 80 page book outlining the full Austin Pedal Car story starting from 1946. It contains mainly black and white photos that have never been seen before.
This book is a must for all Austin Pedal car fans.
Also if you are not yet a member of the club please consider joining. The instructions on how to join and an application form are on the About The Club page. It does not cost a lot and you get a quarterly magazine, and if you have a J40 they will try to trace the year on manufacture, original colour and who it was sold to.
The annual rally is in September. This is the one time in the year when members, young and old get together to discuss cars, race against each other and generally have a good time. The 2003 rally has just taken place. Details of the 2004 rally day will be on this site towards the middle of next year - 2004
If you have a car and want to compare with others then this is the place to be.
