Well here it is one of the very first cars made. You will notice it is in pieces, not because it has rotted away but this was how it was originally made. Each of the panels were bolted together, later this was changed to spot welds
This is the car when it is whole, looks no different to a welded one does it!!, bet it is a dream to work on though. Thanks to Greg Price for the photo This car has the serial number 3240 Likewise the picture aside is that of the engine bay, imagine being able to unbolt it and work on it on the bench!! There are many parts of the body that never saw paint from new, and some welds were nothing short of crude. The engine panel is a 'stitched together' panel. But, there is no rust, so restoration is just time-consuming"
