The latest addition to our family, a little boy, arrived on at 09:20, weighing 8lb, at Frimley Park Hospital.
He has breathing difficulties, tentatively diagnosed as is Choanal Atresia, and has been transferred to Hammersmith Hospital for further assessment and care. Marion is still at Frimley, but may transfer to Hammersmith if a bed can be found for her.
Those wishing to visit Marion while she is still in hospital should please take note of the hospitals visiting policy, especially the last paragraph concerning deliveries by caesarean section. If you wish to ring her, please contact me for her phone number
Hopefully, Marion should be home on Saturday, where visiting can be more relaxed.

Wednesday 14/04/05 -12:40
It now seems likely that the baby (Sorry, but we havn't decided on a name yet!)) is likely to be transferred to Chelsea and Westminster hospital for surgery, once a cot is available in the neo-natal ITU
Wednesday 14/04/05 - 20:50
The baby arrived at Chelsea and Westminster hospital around 17:00, and is OK. Around 18:00 we heard that they also had a bed for Marion, and she is transferring by ambulance this evening. The baby is still awaiting a CT scan which will enable decisions to be made on what surgery is required.
Thursday 14/04/05 - 20:50
Marion is now at Chelsea and Westminster hospital, with the baby (Still no name yet), and is on Josephine ward. Marion is feeling much better this evening, especially now she is with the baby.
The baby is due to have a CT scan around 09:00 tomorrow morning. Once the scan has been done, the specialists will have a much better idea of how much surgery is required, and how best to do it.
The attitude to mobile phones is a little more relaxed here, so we will be contactable by SMS text message, which can be done by emailing mobile@tsneller.co.uk, and using ONLY the SUBJECT line of the email. (I get the SUBJECT immediately via SMS - I can only access the main BODY of the message by using WAP which takes me a few minutes.)
