I actually started racing over ten years ago in 1991, when a good friend of mine, Jason, managed to tankslap my 3 month old KR1-S into a nice comfortable ditch at 130 mph !

Having gotten over the fact that he wasn't dead, and that he'd done £2500 worth of damage, we rebuilt it as a racebike and entered the first ever series of Superteen.I had a great time and finished 15th in the championship just behind James Haydon !

The next year I bought a kitted RGV250 for £4000, then lost my job and had to reluctantly quit racing whilst still a novice.My best result that short season was a 4th place at Brands Hatch.Future racing would have to wait until a bizarre twist of fate involving none other than Mr Jason Villars again !
