December - SEF Run to F Register Xmas Natter
Here we are in December and the sun shines once more on the F clan (albeit a little chilly !). Nonetheless it meant tops were down (apart from Barry & Sue who had their hardtop fitted although we did suggest leaving it at Runnymede to be collected later !) for the run to Oxford to meet up with the stalwarts of the F Register. Who came - TimM, Bob, Tom, Barry & Sue joined us at Runnymede and Dave Livingstone, Stu and Thelma & Louise (aka Jane & Alison) joined us at Henley. It was a good run - the weather stayed fine and we enjoyed the company at The Rose Revived. Click the picture for full report and more pics >>>>>>

December - Hot Wheels Awards and Xmas Dinner
It was back to The Plough for the first Xmas dinner of the season. Better to get in early than not at all with the sheer volume of "Do's" about to avalanche upon us - at least it is December ! The "Hot Wheels" awards were also dispensed during a suitable break in the proceedings. Click the picture for the results. |

November - Tim's Tiny Tour 1
It rained a lot on sunday but four SEF'ers braved the weather to take part in the first of Tim's Tiny Tours. This one started at Reigate and slipped it's way to Oakwoodhill near Horsham. It proved to be a fairly challenging drive ! Click on the picture from the route on the right for a full report. |

October - Tunnel King Tour
Six F'ers turned up on a sunny afternoon at Upnor near Rochester for the start of the Tunnel King Tour. Thanks to an accident on the M25 a couple of us experienced three extra tunnels en route through central London ! The start was delayed for the same reason but we got under way about 2.45pm and were soon trying to escape from Stalag Luft III ! Click on the "Tunnel King" himself to descend into a full report ! |

October - F Register Cotswold Run
Well at least two SEF'ers (TimM and Neil) turned out for the F Register autumn run in the cotswolds. We helped swell the mass ranks of F's to over 50 - which is actually a very good turn out. Full report and pics to be found in the SEF sister site -

October - Evening Pub Meet
Another pub meet at The Plough. It was a damp and rainy night which may have kept some F'ers away. TimM didn't risk getting his F wet and came in an MG Punto instead. Barry and Sue and Steve were welcomed for their first time visit. TimJ and TimM were the stalwarts. It was the final day of the Cannonball Run and we had a short text from him to let us know he was back alright but thanks to bad timing, ewather and distance we didn't venture to Weybridge to see him. Instead we did lots of nattering and indulged in some light refreshment ! Barry & Sue combined the meet with a meal at the pub which seemed quite a good idea .

| 4th September - Evening Pub Meet at
The Plough
A small meeting with just four of us - Bob, two Tims and a Dave - but we did learn of Bob's ambitions and tribulations in getting himself on the Cannonball Run this year. Bob and his co-driver, Wes, will have the distinction of being the first MGF to undertake this mammoth event covering 2863 miles and taking in 5 countries and two continents in just 5 days ! He managed to pinch Tim J's plastic headlamp covers to protect the lights on the journey and is currently on the lookout for a GPS system to help him work out the timings between stages. Mind you he's up against some pretty powerful machinery as well as Zoe Ball in a Nissan Skyline ! Good luck Bob and make sure you have a spare head gasket or two...

| 12th August - Evening Pub Meet at the
Plough
Another evening meet at The Plough in Bletchingley. Initially looked like it was going to be a bit sparse but in the end we had five F's turn up to discuss ideas for events and a little of the future of the South East F'ers. Two new F'ers turned up - Clive and Tony both from Kent in addition to TimJ, TimM and DaveM.

| 9th July - Evening Meet at The PLOUGH
An evening meeting to see if a different group of people turned up. About six F's and some different people did turn up - Hi Mark and Lisa and Dave. Forgot to set a date for the next meet which now looks like Bob's getting his way with a trip to the Market Diner in Brighton.

| Sunday 15th June -Lunchtime
inaugural meet at THE GRASSHOPPER
WESTERHAM
Our inaugural lunchtime meeting attracted about eight F's to The Grasshopper pub on the Kent border. We shared the afternoon with the Subaru Imprezza club and a large amount of families taking their dads out to lunch for Fathers Day We drew people from as far afield as Didcot in Oxfordshire and Ashford in Kent although a lack of convenient food led to Angela leaving early in search of sustenance. A warm afternoon in the Grasshopper sunshine. Too many Tim,s turned up - three of us !, a couple of Daves, Bob, Neil, Angela, Emma and friend (whose name I've forgotten.....but have now been reminded was Corrine !)
