WHAT ARE WE ?
Well the main thing we have in common is the MGF and MGTF sports cars.
Other than that we're a pretty disparate group of people from most walks of life who enjoy chatting about our F's and life in general.
Although there are MG clubs serving the area there have been occasions when the F's felt a little excluded due to their more modern style we therefore felt the need for a regular get together of like minded individuals, and their F's of course.
The South East F'ers follow similar groups in the South West, Central Scotland, Northern England and East Anglia (in the form of the original blueprint) - the Essex Roadsters.
More recently there are moves for a further group in Norfolk/Suffolk and the Midlands.
Most of us are regular posters on the MG Enthusiasts BBS (Link above) and this is where the group draws it's members from along with the MGCC "F Register".
Meetings and events are posted on the MGF General section of that message board under the Thread headings of "South East F'ers" and also updated on this web site under "Next Meeting" as well. An up to date listing of all F events can be found in "F in News".
We are all MGF enthusiasts so we talk a lot about the cars and what we do with them at our regular pub meets .
Members of our group participate in all sorts of things from Track Days to Concours competitions. But it's not just about cars as we all have a wide ranging array of jobs and social lives - there's plenty to natter about !
As a group we arrange social outings in addition to the pub meets generally involving use of the F in some way. We try to find unusual themes such as a midnight run to have breakfast in Brighton or a run taking in as many tunnels as possible in Kent.
We are always open to suggestions from F owners who come along to the meetings so if you have an idea for an unusual outing or event just bring them along to one of the pub meets and before long you could be leading your own event.

MG CAR CLUB F REGISTER
Whilst the group is open to any person owning or with an interest in the F or TF the group does incorporate the South East region of the MG Car Club F Register with Tim Morris being the South East Regional Representative. Consequently any activities also come under the F Register banner. To be included in the F Register you need to be a member of the MG Car Club and, although it is not a pre-requisite to being a South East F'er, we would fully encourage you to become a member if not so already To join the MG car club costs just £32 per year for which you get twelve editions of the club magazine "Safety fast", access to all club events and automatic membership of the F register.
