Bob & Wes took a 1997 MGF with over 100,000 miles on the clock to Morocco and back in the Cannonball Run Europe 2003. 

This site followed their progress with regular updates for the five days between 27th September and 1stOctober .

Now Bob has written his account of the journey in three parts. 

Part one covers the start and the non stop drive to Tangiers 

 Part Two covers the trip from Tangiers to Barcelona.

 Part Three features the trip from Barcelona to Lyons and then back to London

Prior to the run he also wrote three articles on his thoughts leading up to the event.

In "The Eddie Factor" he explains why they decided to do the run in the first place.

In "Two Nuts and a Bolt" they decide that they should probably get a service before they set off.

In "Graphic Details" Bob runs us through the final touches of preparing the graphics.
