BEN NEVIS TREK    24th to 28th JULY 2003

Something Different?
Then join us on our latest trek up Britain's tallest mountain, BEN NEVIS.
We climb in remembrance of Lesley, who devoted much of her life to the youth of our community. We have already raised in excess of £7,500 for charity and, with your help, can make that sum considerably larger.
This year we climb at the end of July, leaving Portchester at 10pm on 24th July and travelling overnight. The journey will take some 13 hours, allowing for stops. We will arrive at Farr Cottage, Corpach, Fort William, probably towards noon on the Friday. We climb either on the Saturday or Sunday.

On the day that we do not climb, we can explore the delights of the Fort William area. We will then pack up and head for home EARLY on Monday 28th July arriving in Portchester at some late o’clock that day.
You may want to consider arranging leave for Tuesday 29th.

What do YOU Need?

EQUIPMENT
All equipment for the Trek can be supplied, with the exception of sticks or poles. It is highly recommended that you have one, it does help.

SPONSORSHIP
Each climber is required to raise at least £300 in sponsorship.

The first climb meeting is 8pm on Monday May 19th at:
 The Seagull Pub
 White Hart Lane
 Portchester
Come along, meet the team and swear allegiance to the cause.

Remember when all is said and done, Ben Nevis is a full grown up mountain, not a hill.

HAVE FUN, KEEP SAFE.

The facilities of Farr Cottage are superb and give rise to a PARTY atmosphere after the climb.
