Welcome to the Creative Counselling Website
My name is Julie Thompson and I am a counsellor working in the city centre of Manchester, UK.
Counselling can offer an opportunity for you to express your thoughts and feelings about your personal difficulties in a non-judgmental atmosphere and look at ways of working through those difficulties. In working together in this way I would not be offering advice, but rather helping you to understand your life better and enable you to make whatever changes that you feel are right.
I have entitled my site 'Creative Counselling' as I am very interested in the use of art and other media in therapy / counselling.

For more information on this and the counselling I offer please
see the One to One Counselling page.

I see people in the city centre of Manchester, UK, on Oldham Street, near Piccadilly Gardens. The premises I use have disabled access and facilities.

I have been a qualified counsellor since 1999 and trained at City College Manchester where I achieved an Advanced Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling (A BACP accredited course).

I positively welcome members from diverse cultural and ethnical backgrounds, of different sexual orientations, abilities, ages and gender.

For Counsellors/Therapists - Myself and a colleague are starting a Personal Development Group in September 2004.  It will a monthly group meeting in the city centre of Manchester, UK.  If you would like more information please visit our website at www.personaldevelopmentgroup.org.uk
