First up is the Stray Café. This was completely rebuilt at the start of 2007. The rebuilding was paid for with private money.
It's good to see such investment in the town. We wish the owners every success in their venture.
This project, again paid for by public and private business donations has really brightened up the High street and other locations.
Well done to Rachel Wooley and friends to get this project up and running.

Another project initiated by Rachel and her friends was the cleaning of the Shelters on the front. Once again they had been left to fall into an unacceptable state.
This site, as stated, is non-political apart from comments on the forum, but we will ask on this occasion why it wasn't done by the council.
It's a question of priorities we assume, but these are at the forefront of our town, and as such should be kept in a respectable condition.
