The 10 Steps To Downloading
Ok, not seen this on any other site, and sometimes FAQS can be a pain if you don't even know what question you should be looking for.
So I have done 'The 10 Steps To Success' for complete and utter, newbies to Bittorrent!
I have based this on the www.torrentz.com website.
So here goes...
STEP1: Download the file sharing program from HERE
STEP2: Click SAVE and when downloaded, it will AUTO-INSTALL.
STEP3: This program WON'T appear until we download a file, known as a .TORRENT!
STEP4: Go to the website and click on the file of your choice.
STEP5: The screen will look like this, now click download!
STEP6: Our Program (Client) pop's up now and the download procedure begins to set in motion... This is the .TORRENT downloading, and will only take a split second. DO NOT confuse this with the actual file (as in say, The .AVI file at 688MB) you were after. This is still to be downloaded by the program (Client).
STEP7: Now the .TORRENT file has been downloaded (above) which i like to think of like an Instruction Manual to tell the program (Client) what file we are downloading. The actual FULL FILE download will begin!
STEP8: Time to sit back and wait at this point. Although Bittorrent is more efficient, it isn't a magic wand.
STEP9: Soon the numbers will start to move, as in you will be uploading and downloading and the progress bar will move also.
STEP10: A completley successful download.
DONE!
