How To Use The Nova Torrent Client
1st. Open and install the client... Easy you would think, right? Wrong! I downloaded version v0.3.4, and it wouldn't install, kept issuing me with a Error message about corupt files or the fact a virus may have damaged the .EXE file.
2nd. So I went with v0.3.0 which did install.
3rd. The main screen looks like this:
4th. Pretty basic in its layout and function, looks like an ideal client for the absolute newbie.
5th. To give its credit, it does give you control over Upload and Download settings...
6th. With control over file destinations and .torrent files locations aswell.
7th. I downloaded 2 torrents with this client, both successfully, although i'm not too sure about this one.
8th. Apart from the fact it appears there NEWEST release WON'T even install, well on my machine it wouldn't anyway... and the whole simplistic layout, I feel this is nothing more than a clone of the Bittorrent ++ client. Except things are just in different places!
9th. I feel this client will go 2 ways.... Go on to bigger and better things with new features added...or simply curl up and fade away forever.
10th. Sad to say, i feel it will be the latter. There really is nothing this client offers that is new!
