How To Make A Basic KVCD
You will need the following tools:
- TMPGEnc 2.5 - (SHAREWARE) - Click HERE to download.
- Nero 6.x.x.x.x - (SHAREWARE) - Click HERE to download.
- You will need to visit the following LINK to get the KVCD template. In this tutorial i will show you using a PAL format template. Choose what ever suits your needs. On this site, simply right click the template of your choice and select SAVE AS... and save into:
- C://My Computer/Program Files/pegasys Inc/TMPGEnc/Templates.
- 1st. Open TMPGEnc and select the KVCD option from the left column. The click NEXT.
- 2nd. Now add your video files by clicking the VIDEO browse button andselecting the AVI/DivX file. Then click NEXT.
- 3rd. Click next on this screen...
- 5th. It should look like this, ensure you select 352x288 as the aspect ratio (Screen size). Then click NEXT.
- 6th. Ensure at this point you de-select the START ENCODING box then press OK.
- 7th. Before clicking START, ensure SYSTEM (Video+Audio) is selected in the bottom right hand corner, failure to do this will result in a movie with no sound! You have been warned!
- 8th. Click START and sit back and wait.... Once its done, open NERO BURNING ROM.
- 9th. Select VIDEO CD from the right column and ensure you UN-TICK THE STANDARD COMPLIANT CD box. Otherwise, disaster!
- 10th. Click the NEW button once you have done that and DRAG and DROP your NEW movie TMPGEnc has created. Then simply select the BURN icon and sit back and wait!
- 11th. Job done, sit back and watch!
