French Trip 17th - 23rd August 2008
Following
a suggestion made by Mick last year, this year we decided to visit the memorials
and
landing beaches of the 2nd World War. Without wishing to talk politics or sound
slushy, this was more than a
Holiday (although it was), it was a pilgrimage and tribute to those who gave
their lives so that we could remain free.
Maybe some of our politicians should make this trip before giving our country
away so easily !
